Three students. One shared frustration. A mission to fix student life.
We all met on our Computer Science course at university. We were each involved in multiple societies and sports clubs, and we were all dealing with the exact same problem. One society was on WhatsApp, another on Instagram or Facebook, and some only posted on the student portal.
We were missing events we actually cared about. Messages got buried. That constant feeling of "Did I miss something?" became part of daily life. It wasn't just annoying, it was genuinely draining. We could see people around us slowly disengaging from the communities they'd been excited to join.
So we decided to do something about it. What started as a conversation over coffee turned into late nights of planning, prototyping, and building. The idea was simple: one app, one login, everything a student needs. No more platform overload. No more missed opportunities.
We built Social Hub because we lived the problem ourselves, and we're on a mission to make student life easier for everyone.
